Community School Initiative
Carver Middle School is a neighborhood school located in Historic South-Central Los Angeles. There has been a school at our location on McKinley Avenue for over 100 years. Carver Middle School is a community school because we believe that it is the best way for us to transform our school. We believe that by embracing and internalizing the overarching values which are the hallmarks of a community school we can create the school that our students deserve and need.
